Its racial makeup is 79.2% White (72.1% were Non-Hispanic White) 13.1% African American, .24% Native American, 1.6% Asian, .06% Pacific Islander. The Hispanic population is about 10% and growing.

The home prices range from a fixer upper smaller home starting at around $225,000 and can go up to over $2,500,000 with the majority of homes falling in the mid $300’s to mid $450,000 price range.
