Neighborhood Spotlight: Wilton Manors Almar Estates

The neighborhood of Almar Estates is situated in the north central section of Wilton Manors just south of Oakland Park Blvd and east of Andrews and west of Dixie Hwy. With its great location and close access to the freeways and beach plus it is walking distance to the Drive (Wilton Drive) make this a popular choice for home shoppers. There is also some of the homes that are waterfront and these views can not be beat and remain a great value in comparison to other areas. This neighborhood consist of about 105 homes and most were built in the 1950's and 60's.  The majority are one level and have a true mid-century South Florida architecture look. Home shoppers will find smaller Almar Estate homes starting at around 1,100 sq. feet while larger homes at around 2,300 sq. feet. The home price range starts at around $300,000 and higher priced homes that generally top off at around $560,000 in price.
